Adventure vacation or wellness trip? We went on a journey of discovery and used the results of our study to reveal the travel preferences of each generation. We were interested in questions about the planning process, the decision-making criteria and the financial scope.
Traveling is in! The desire to see the world is widespread: Over 60% of people consider traveling to be essential. However, despite its popularity, travel is not a matter of course, especially among Gen Z (38%) and boomers (30%).
The smartphone has secured a firm place as a travel guide and spontaneous booking option. Even one in three boomers already uses their smartphone as a travel guide.
Whether young or old: Southern Europe is and remains the dream destination for all generations.
