Publicis Media enters the "Age of Commerce" with bundled commerce and performance expertise

Arthur Sadoun, the global CEO of PublicisGroupe, has given the organization a clear strategy with "The Age of Commerce''. With Unlimitail, Publicis Groupe launched a multinational retail media initiative at Vivatech in Paris, whose open architecture enables all retailers to commercialize their retail media potential.

Publicis Groupe Germany is also consolidating its commerce offering in Germany. Under the umbrella of the media agency group Publicis Media, it is creating a new unit Publicis Media Commerce & Performance, a platform for clients from all sectors and for all retail partners. This platform combines the competencies of the previous Commerce Practice as well as those of the sister agencies Epsilon, Profitero and CitrusAd. The new Unlimitail offering will thus also be available for the German market.

"The trend is clear: consumption is becoming increasingly digital and e-commerce has long since ceased to be the challenger business model. Around the world, marketing is entering "The Age of Commerce,'' says Katja Reis, Chief Operating Officer Publicis Media and responsible for the Commerce offering. "Every target group contact becomes a sales opportunity, whether online or offline, on your own website or with partners. Retailers become publishers, manufacturers become merchants. To help our customers exploit this commerce potential, we are also bringing together the best of Publicis Groupe and its partners in Germany through a combination of data, analytics, technology and activation.'' 

Consulting is at the heart of the offering. "There is no one-size-fits-all solution; we have to create individual solutions for each customer or partner,'' says Reis.

Julia Günther is new on board. She works as Director Commerce & Retail Media Consulting and comes from Skai, a provider of an omnichannel marketing platform based in Munich. She previously worked as a paid search specialist at Experteer and Quisma.

The Publicis Media Commerce & Performance team works closely with the consulting units of Publicis Groupe Germany. Publicis Media Commerce & Performance thus encompasses the expertise of over 150 specialists in commerce, retail, marketplaces and performance.
