Publicis Media brings on Christian Ruck as Chief Technology Officer

Düsseldorf, February 6, 2023 - Christian Ruck, 44, starts as Chief Technology Officer at Publicis Media on February 1. In this position, he is responsible for Business Intelligence, Data & Software Engineering. His responsibilities also include process management and the further development of all technological systems for customers and agencies.


Ruck becomes part of the Publicis Media Board and reports to Olivier Korte, CEO, and Katja Reis, COO Publicis Media. Previously, the computer science graduate served as Vice President Business Intelligence & Cloud Engineering at Ströer Digital Media in Frankfurt, where he was instrumental in driving the automation of all business units and IT security. Rucks' previous stations include GroupM and AOL Platforms/Verizon.


Publicis Media has been consistently investing in expanding its own technology and data expertise for many years. More than 200 employees now work not only for German clients, but also take on international projects.

Until now, the Data & Technology team at Publicis Media has been led by Dr. Alfred Heidekum, 55, who is leaving the agency group after twelve years for personal reasons and at his own request.
